Brandon Landt

Biography

Brandon Christopher Landt joined Sharp Law in June of 2020 after graduating during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and assists in all areas of the firm’s class action litigation efforts. Born in Alaska, Mr. Landt’s life has never been too far removed from the energy industry. After relocating to Texas and graduating high school in Houston, Brandon was employed as a Landman for various oil and gas companies throughout his undergraduate studies en route to a double major in Finance and Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business.

Being a third generation Sooner, Brandon promptly determined to return to Norman for law school where he clerked for several prominent Oklahoma City law firms specializing in oil and gas title, transactional, and litigation matters, in addition to performing duties as a legal intern for a large Dallas-based mineral holdings company. At OU Law, Brandon was employed as a Research Assistant to Professor Kenton Brice (Director of the Center for Technology & Innovation in Practice), externed for the Trinity Legal Clinic of Oklahoma, and served as President of the Oil & Gas, Natural Resources & Energy Law Society (ONE-S).

Brandon is also a contributing Member of LexDAO, a non-profit association of legal engineering professionals bridging the traditional legal settlement layer to code with smart contracts and bringing blockchain-programmed agreements to the masses.
