Biography
Monica Sandu joined Sharp Law as an associate in September of 2024, having previously worked at the firm as an intern from June to August of 2023. Monica’s practice at Sharp Law involves all aspects of the firm’s class action and complex litigation lawsuits.
Monica received her Bachelor of Arts from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she was a part of the College’s James Monroe Scholars Program for undergraduate research. Monica graduated summa cum laude from William & Mary in May 2021 with a double major in International Relations and French and Francophone Studies.
Monica graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in May 2024. During her time at UVA, Monica served first as Co-Executive Editor and later as Production Editor for UVA Law’s student newspaper, the Virginia Law Weekly. As part of the Law Weekly Executive Board, Monica reported on current events around the Law School, edited articles for publication, and designed the layout of the paper for print each week. Monica also founded the Orthodox Christian Law Student Association at UVA Law and served as the organization’s president throughout law school. Lastly, Monica served on the editorial board of the Virginia Journal of International Law.
