Hans Hodes

Biography

Hans Hodes joined Sharp Law as an associate in September 2025, after completing two internships with the firm from June to August 2024 and January to May 2025. His practice focuses on all aspects of the firm’s class action and complex litigation matters, where he contributes research, drafting, and case strategy support.

Hans was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Before attending law school, Hans received his degree in History and Economics and a double minor in Philosophy and American Studies from Vanderbilt University in 2019. Hans also received a Master’s in Education in 2020 from Lipscomb University while completing his two years with Teach for America in Nashville, Tennessee.

Hans graduated from University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School in May 2025 with cum laude honors. During law school, Hans was on UMKC’s mock trial team, a lawyering skills teaching assistant, and the lead comment editor for the UMKC Law Review. His comment about how U.S. tax policies could help Major League Soccer expand while increasing youth player development was published in the UMKC Law Review Vol. 92.2.
