Biography
Jennifer represents clients in complex litigation, including class actions. She has practiced in trial and appellate courts, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and commercial disputes.
Before entering private practice, Jennifer served as a federal judicial clerk to the Honorable Julie A. Robinson in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. She also served as a judicial extern during law school for both Judge Robinson and for Judge Nancy L. Moritz, United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washburn University School of Law, where she served on the Board of Editors of The Washburn Law Journal. She was named as one of the “Top 20 Law Students in the Nation” by The National Jurist magazine and was a J.L. Weigand, Jr. Notre Dame Legal Education Trust Scholar from 2016 to 2019.
Before becoming an attorney, Jennifer was editor of the Journal of the Kansas Bar Association and a writer in the science and engineering industry.
Jennifer’s advocacy extends beyond the courtroom. She has volunteered with and held leadership positions in several Kansas City organizations dedicated to creating employment and independence opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She currently serves on the Board of Friends of Johnson County Developmental Supports, a non-profit organization dedicated to removing barriers to affordable, accessible housing for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Johnson County, Kansas.
