Biography
Scott represents individuals and businesses in oil-and-gas, consumer protection, and antitrust class actions, often against the largest companies in the country. State and federal courts have appointed Scott as counsel for both contested and settlement classes. Prior to joining Sharp Law, Scott cut his teeth representing banks and financial services institutions in complex commercial litigation. In recent years, Scott’s practice has focused on recovering underpaid royalties for mineral owners in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, and Ohio. Scott and his co-counsel have recovered over $300 million for mineral owners since 2018.
